Natia Kuprashvili
Natia Kuprashvili has been the Head of the Journalism Resource Center (JRC) since August 2017. Simultaneously, she served as the Executive Director of the Georgian Alliance of Regional Broadcasters (GARB), where she successfully implemented numerous projects. A journalist by profession with 20 years of experience, she has held editorial positions in various regional media outlets. At the Institute for War and Peace Reporting, she led the publication of the Georgian-Abkhazian newspaper Panorama. Natia is the author of several textbooks and academic works. She serves as an associate professor and head of the doctoral program at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. In 2024, she received the EaP CS Forum Civil Society Award on behalf of JRC.
Nugzar Suaridze
Nugzar Suaridze has been the Head of Programs at JRC since August 2017, a role she previously held at the Georgian Alliance of Regional Broadcasters from 2010. A graduate of the State Institute of Theater and Cinema’s Faculty of Cinema, she also completed investigative journalism courses, including “60 Minutes” and the Institute for War and Peace Reporting. With over 20 years of experience in various roles in print and television media, she brings a wealth of expertise to her position at JRC.
Nina Kheladze
Since November 2017, Nina Kheladze has been a producer and project coordinator at JRC. She is also the Development Director of TOK TV. A member of the Charter of Journalistic Ethics, she served on its Board for three years. Nina has over 10 years of experience as a journalist, working across regional and national TV and radio outlets. At the Journalism Resource Center, she collaborates with European partners to successfully implement diverse media programs.
Giorgi Mantidze
Giorgi Mantidze has been the Social Media Manager at JRC since November 2017. He also administers the organization’s websites (jrc.ge and toktv.ge) and social media platforms. From 2013 to 2017, he worked at GARB as the administrator of its website (garb.ge) and managed its social media accounts. Giorgi has also taught an Information Literacy course at Ilia State University.
Irma Charakashvili
Irma Charakashvili is the Head of the Marketing Department at JRC. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Ilia State University, where she also graduated from the Journalism Department. Irma has extensive experience managing media projects successfully and has coordinated several programs in Georgia’s regions. Previously, she worked as a journalist for GARB’s daily news service.
Natalia Nemsadze
Natalia Nemsadze is a senior researcher at JRC and leads the platform Fact/Fake. She is a co-author of several media studies and has been part of the JRC team since 2016, initially as a freelancer. A journalist by profession, Natalia continues to make significant contributions to the organization’s research and fact-checking initiatives.
